SUNRISE FORM I 2014

Hey all!

These past two weeks we worked a lot. We have been practising recognition of food vocabulary by looking at pictures and reading their names. There are three lovely games on the games section for the kids to practise. We completed many pages on the booklet: 26, 27, 29, 31, 32, 33 and 34.

We worked on classifying food into healthy and unhealthy and connected this topic to a very interesting       

science topic: DENTAL HEALTH. We carried out an experiment, you can read about it in the next entry. Ask the children to show you how to do it. We talked about the importance of brushing our teeth and the consequences they have when we eat or drink sugar. We watched a video about brushing our teeth.

We worked on numbers almost every day. We are learning how to read them by playing some games and matching activities. We also completed page 6 from the booklet.

We will continue practising these until the mid-term exams. Only the first three groups will be tested.

We also learnt new prepositions:  IN- ON- UNDER. We practised prepositions on pages 87, 88, 89 and 90.
