Hello Everyone!

Welcome back!

The second part of the year is here and we are ready to learn new things.

This week we learnt two new sounds: /ai/ as in train and /j/ as in jelly.

We worked on the mimio and we sang along the songs (you can find them in the songs section).

We read the story: “Big Pig on a dig” and we went on a treasure hunt. We found so many tasty things.

We talked about likes and dislikes. We learnt the following phrases:

I like (chocolate).

I don’t like (fish).

Do you like (vegetables)?

Yes, I do.

No, I don’t.

Last but not least...

SCHOOL PLAY 2014

"Drama and music put language into context. When dialogues, grammatical structures, song lyrics, musical phrasing and vocabulary are contextualised they become meaningful and memorable."

 This year Form I together with Forms II & III will perform "The Lorax".

                          

 We´ve already started practising, we are learning the lyrics for the final song and the costumes are already on their way! The children are so enthused!
